In 1979 I The entertainer/rapper/writer-known to the public as Scooby, Scoob, MillionaireScoob, J-1, or   Jamarr was born from Sandra lee Hoskins and Richard Harris.  They were never married or a couple which ultimately lead to me being in a single-parent household living in urban areas.  By the age of 11 we (my mother, my two siblings and I) had moved at least 12 times.  Sometimes to some of the toughest urban neighborhoods and roughest housing projects in Cincinnati ,Ohio.  Growing up in poverty stricken conditions with no male role model or father figure, young  J-1(I) (jamarr) found myself (himself) in more than my share of trouble and mischief especially in school.  Failing classes, constant suspensions and fighting fellow classmates,  which eventually led up to me completely dropping out of school,  getting involved in gangs, dealing drugs and going to jail; I even had a brush with death at the age of 17 I was brutally beaten and found unconscious in the trunk of car.- MUSIC-I first found out I loved music in the Michael Jackson thriller era (80's) I would imitate Michael Jacksons’ dance moves and memorize all of his songs and lyrics till I got them perfect, as I  grew older I began to become fascinated with a new genre of music called hip hop/rap.  Due to my older sister blasting music, she would play everything from Fresh Prince, Salt-n-Pepa, and Heavy-D to Easy-E, to gangster raps’ N.W.A, Too Short  and many other hip hop artists at that time.  I was highly influenced by gangster rap; I tried to imitate them from my speech to the way I dressed.  Around the age of  10 at the time we had illegal cable and after school I would rush right to the T.V. to watch videos on B.E.T  to watch Video Soul and Rap city, I often use to rhyme my own words over the beats that the rappers were rapping on or replace their words and names with words I wanted to use or my name, in 1991 in sixth grade I was in a school talent   show with a few other classmates and we lip singed (rap group, Naughty by natures hit song O.P.P It was my first time on stage performing but not my last-.MORE MUSIC-1992 I had started to get in more trouble at school so my mother sent me to stay with father in Atlanta, Georgia there I lived with my father his wife and my 2 siblings  on my short stay I encountered more problems but music  was still my outlet from them,  older brother and younger sister, I used to do my raps around them and one day my brother had an idea lets write a rap in 1992 I wrote my first rap titled poker chip, me and my brother performed this live in front of my  father my step mom and my little sister, my  stepmother  being thoroughly excited and overwhelmed told my father  that maybe I should do something with this natural talent he didn’t say much, eventually my Atlanta stay was shortened, and I moved back to Cincinnati.-Fast forward-1994 Me and grade school friend reconnected  amongst other things we collectively decided that we wanted to pursue our careers in rap music we started off  using boom boxes 1 boom box for beat 1 boom box for record rapping to the end of others rappers beats or any instrumental we could, as time progressed we upgraded to a  Karaoke  machine my partner learning to loop beats now  we had a more efficient way of recording our own mix tapes and eventually by 1998 we had a first real recording session in real recording studio, we also recruited  other friends that shared our musical ambition and came up with our Rap Group (THE WORLDS FINEST)                                                                                                                             The Royal Family ,eventually becoming one of Cincinnati’s premiere local underground groups after releasing our debut album independently titled Legacies of War, the tone was set for greatness 2000 Natiboy Records inc. was established but  I had my own ideas, going back and forth to jail and getting deeply involved in the streets distracted me from doing music I was in and out the studio less than seldom , years went by I crushed  a few opponents  in freestyle battles recorded a few nice songs but I was separated. ONLY GOD Only God has the power  to make the impossible possible and that’s what happened, in 2009 I reintroduced myself to the culture making 4 self-distributed mix tapes in 6 months; although my mix tapes were nice, the production and mixing styles depreciated the value. Due to my new found ------- with music I began to stray further away from the street life.  I also reconnected with my partner, long time friend and brother my music has risen to new heights.  This is just a short introduction to my music and life experiences have made my music much more passionate and pure … I aim to spread hope to the hopeless and hopefully give people my inspiration..I AM J-1, MEANING JAMARR' S GODS’ CHOSEN 1 – NO SODA IS MY SOUND, PURE, REAL AND NOTHING EXTRA LETS GO ON THIS JOURNEY TOGETHERI’ll let my music write the rest of my biography.NATIBOY360…..
